Presented by the West Texas Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, this program was designed to provide practical information and resources to help dementia caregivers and loved ones learn to decode verbal and behavioral messages from people with dementia.
Topics covered include: Identifying the communication changes that happen due to Alzheimer's disease, learning how to decode verbal and behavioral messages delivered by someone with dementia, and identifying strategies to help you connect and communicate at each stage of the disease.
